EternaX and others have proven that no production blockchain is fully PQ-safe today. Protocol
migration is underway across the industry, and the signature schemes will eventually follow.
But even after protocol migration, custodians face a harder problem: proving who initiated
the threshold signing ceremony, from where, and under what compliance state. Current
custody stacks rely on MPC threshold schemes (GG18, FROST) with classical signatures — and on centralized logs that can be
altered post-event.
The next procurement gate is not "is your chain PQ-safe?" It is "can you
prove the command itself is tamper-evident?"
